ABOUT US
Otherside Games opened in Edwardsville, IL in 2016 by owner Alex Tidball. As a lifelong gamer, his goal was to create a community space where people could gather to play games, buy games, read comics and graphic novels, and enjoy the hobby aspects of many games. Since 2016, the store has been a haven for gamers in the Metro East region and looks forward to continuing to provide game and comic enthusiasts with the newest products on the market and a place gather with others just like them.
Otherside Games specializes in tabletop games, role playing games, board games, comics, and card games. We pride ourselves on our intimate product knowledge and ability to help our customers find the games that they’ll enjoy the most. Our staff is always willing to help you learn a new game, too!

PRODUCTS
Miniature Games
At Otherside Games one of our main specialties is miniature games. We carry a large selection of models for several games including Warhammer 40k, Age of Sigmar, ASOIAF, Star Wars Legion, Marvel Crisis Protocol, Conquest, and more! We also have a large variety of terrain in the back room and free table space to play your games.
Hobby Supplies
We are your stop for miniature game hobby supplies. We carry Citadel paint and spray cans, army painter paints, and the Duncan Rhodes Two-Thin Coates paints. We also have a variety of hobby tools and supplies including small magnets, clippers, terrain flocking, and more!
Board Games
Whether you are looking for a light two player card game like Fox in the Forest, a classic like Catan or Ticket to Ride, or a massive many hour board game epic like Twilight Imperium, our board game selection will have you covered. Out staff loves board games too, and we will be happy to help you find the perfect game for you!
Role-Playing Games
We carry a wide selection of books for Dungeons & Dragons, with several core books and also modules in stock all the time. We also carry several other role-playing games as well, including Pathfinder, One Ring, World of Darkness, Star Trek Adventures, Dune, and many more!
Card Games
Our store carries Magic the Gathering and Pokemon, as well as other great collectible card games. Stop in on Sunday afternoons for casual games of Magic: Commander.
Comics
Check out our comics section for some great graphic novels and single issue comics. We also have a featured wall section with some of our staff picks and best rated comics of all time!
